Peter Scholl-Latour

Scholl-Latour at a lecture in the [[Bundeswehr University of Munich]], 2008 Peter Roman Scholl-Latour (9 March 1924 – 16 August 2014) was a French-German journalist, author and reporter. Scholl-Latour was regarded as one of Europe's most important journalists, akin to what Walter Cronkite was in the US. For over six decades, he was one of the continent's most influential voices. During the Vietnam War, he was captured by the Viet Cong and managed to secure unique film footage during his captivity. Provided by Wikipedia
