Ruth Klüger

Ruth Klüger (30 October 1931 – 6 October 2020) was Professor Emerita of German Studies at the University of California, Irvine and a Holocaust survivor. She was the author of the bestseller (English translation by the author: ''Still Alive: A Holocaust Girlhood Remembered'') about her childhood in Vienna and in Nazi concentration camps.
