Hans Ludendorff

Friedrich Wilhelm Hans Ludendorff (Thunow, 26 May 1873 – Potsdam, 26 June 1941) was a German astronomer and astrophysicist. He was the younger brother of General Erich Ludendorff.

Hans Ludendorff came from a non-noble family in Ludendorff (now Kruszewnia) near (now Poznań), in the Prussian Province of Posen (now Greater Poland Voivodeship, Poland) (hence the lack of a "von" or "zu" in his name). Provided by Wikipedia
